At ICNDF, we take pride in the quality of our breeding dogs and the outstanding puppies they produce.   Prior to each breeding, we evaluate the dog's overall health and condition to ensure she still still meets our high standards for being a "puppy mama".

When we determine it's time, based on age and overall condition, she is retired from our breeding program.  This occurs around six years of age while she is still of general good health.

The retired ICNDF puppy mama is obedience trained, well-mannered, physically sound, and well socialized.  She has good hips and has been spayed.  She is accustomed to a loving family environment, so she naturally will quickly become a loving member of her new family.

These dogs are available for placement in select family homes.

We take great care and consideration in the proper placement of our retired "puppy mamas"

They've served us well, and they deserve the best retirement homes and families we can find for them!

RESCUED DOGS

Occasionally we take in a German Shepherd in need of a good home.  We only accept dogs with good temperament, and our veterinarian examines them to ensure physical and mental soundness.

We provide these dogs a temporary home, work with them to improve their social skills, and train them in basic obedience.

Our adoption fee covers kennel and veterinary expenses, vaccinations, deworming, spay/neuter, micro-chip, and training.   A portion of the adoption fee is donated to local animal welfare organizations.
